Open. 10.

THE UNBINDING OF SATAN AND THE GOG AND MAGOG WAR OF DECEPTION IN REVELATION 20

We have already seen that the thousand years are not literal, but rather symbolic of the period between the First Coming and the Second Coming of YaHUsha Messiah.

We have also examined the meaning of the thousand-year binding of “the old devil and Satan” (which encompasses the New Testament’s era of the proclamation of the gospel), but we have not yet looked at what happens when he is released again (an event that still lies in the future, although the stage has already been largely set, as previously pointed out).

The time when “the thousand years are completed” is the moment the entire period of New Testament gospel proclamation comes to an end.  The time allotted for it has then run out.

The entire plan of salvation — namely, the gospel or “mystery”, will have thus reached its climax and the time has come to “reap the harvest” it has produced.

This is explained in another “interlude chapter,” namely Revelation 10.

THE BOOK OF DANIEL: THE PROPHECY THAT GAVE THE EXACT YEAR OF THE MESSIAH

The Book of Daniel contains a prophecy most people have never examined carefully — and it gives a specific number of years, from a specific historical decree, to the arrival of a specific person.

When you run the math, it lands on the exact generation of YaHUsha of Nazareth.

In this video, we walk through Daniel chapter 9, verses 24–27 — the prophecy of the 70 Weeks — line by line, in the original Hebrew.

We trace the timeline from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem under Artaxerxes in 445 BC, through 483 prophetic years, to the moment YaHUsha rode into Jerusalem.

We examine why ancient rabbis tried to stop people from reading it, why the Dead Sea Scrolls contain more copies of Daniel than almost any other book, and what the phrase “cut off, but not for himself” reveals about the nature of the Messiah’s death — written five centuries before the cross.

If you’ve heard the story of Daniel but never looked at the numbers, this is where it gets real.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION EXPLAINED: What It Really Says About the End Times

Most people hear the word Revelation and immediately think of the end of the world — beasts, plagues, war, the Antichrist, 666, and terrifying predictions about the last days.

But what if the Book of Revelation was never meant to be read first as a horror story?

In this video, we explain the Book of Revelation in its historical, biblical, and spiritual context: who John was writing to, why he was on Patmos, what apocalyptic literature actually means, and why the first readers of Revelation may have understood its symbols very differently than many modern readers do today.

Revelation opens not with a threat, but with a blessing.

It was written to real churches facing real pressure under the Roman Empire. Its strange images — the beasts, the horsemen, the number 666, Babylon, the scroll, and the New Jerusalem — were not random nightmares. They were part of a powerful biblical language meant to reveal what was hidden beneath the surface of history.

And at the center of the entire vision is not the beast.

It is the Lamb.

This Bible explained video looks at what Revelation really says about the end times, why the Lamb in Revelation chapter 5 matters so deeply, what the number 666 may have meant to the early church, and why the ending of Revelation is not about escaping the earth, but about God coming down to restore creation.

If you have ever been confused, frightened, or overwhelmed by the Book of Revelation, this video will help you read it with more clarity, context, and hope.

THE MYSTERIOUS PATTERN OF 7 IN SCRIPTURE

Have you ever wondered why the number 7 appears more than 700 times throughout the Bible?

From the very first page of Genesis to the final visions of Revelation, the number seven isn’t just a recurring digit—it is a divine “fingerprint” woven into the fabric of creation and prophecy.

In this video, we dive deep into the Biblical Hebraic significance of the number 7, exploring why it represents “completeness,” “perfection,” and the “seal of God.”

We’ll uncover hidden patterns in the original languages and look at how this mathematical rhythm points toward a grand design.

🔍 What We Cover in This Video:

  • The Foundation of Creation: Why God rested on the 7th day and the establishment of the Sabbath.
  • The Seven Feasts of Israel: How the Hebrew calendar mirrors God’s prophetic timeline for humanity.
  • Seven in the Life of Jesus: From the 7 “I Am” statements to the 7 miracles recorded in the Gospel of John.
  • The Book of Revelation: Decoding the 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 bowls, and the 7 churches.
  • Numerical Design: A look at the “Seven-Fold” structure of the original Hebrew and Greek texts that many scholars argue couldn’t have happened by accident.

THE FIRST RESURRECTION AND SECOND DEATH OF REV. 20

The exact phrase “first resurrection” occurs word-for-word in the entire Bible only in Rev. 20:4 – 6. This is accompanied by a Second Death and a Final Judgment .

As with the ‘thousand years’ in Rev. 20 which we have already looked at, there are two different views in relation to the ‘first resurrection’ of verses 5 and 6, namely …

  1. The literal (physical) view of Premillennialism (Chiliasm),
  2. The symbolic (spiritual) view of Amillennialism and Postmillennialism (Anti-Chiliasm)

DIE EERSTE OPSTANDING EN TWEEDE DOOD VAN OPEN. 20

Open.

REFLECTION ON THE THOUSAND YEARS

We get the idea of a period of a thousand years from Revelation 20.  This is accompanied by:

1.  the binding and loosing of the devil (verses 1 – 3),

2.  the reign of YaHUsha as Messiah with the martyrs (verses 4 – 6),

3.  the first resurrection (verses 5 – 6),

4.  Gog and Magog (verses 7 – 10) and

5.  the Second Death (verses 6, 11 – 15).

INTRODUCTION

To interpret the thousand years, one must understand how the background of the book of Revelation relates to the rest of Scripture.  The first and last books of Scripture (Genesis and Revelation) are often described as the two “bookends” of the Bible.  Like bookends at the beginning and end of a series of books, these two books hold together the whole of biblical truth.

Therefore, there are many direct aspects from Genesis that appear again in Revelation as mirror images.  Genesis shows us how everything was created and then “broke”, while Revelation depicts how YaHUaH Elohim restores everything.  One can then summarise the entire Bible in a nutshell as follows:

1.  Genesis:  Creation and the Fall

2.  Rest of the Bible:  YaHUaH Elohim’s plan of salvation

3.  Revelation:  Restoration of all

Revelation as the last book then involves the end and final restoration of all after a long preceding struggle.  However, it is an apocalyptic writing and therefore it is extremely symbolic due to the much imagery.  The meaning of this imagery must then be obtained from the preceding rest of Scripture, because as seen above, it is not independent.

A Short Video overview.

Kort Afrikaanse KI Video-oorsig:

SCOFIELD’S INTERPRETATION OF GOG AND MAGOG

The popular view of who Gog is comes from C.I. Scofield's Reference Bible which has been reprinted many times.

It divides the Bible into dispensations which are not in harmony with the Truth of the Word.

Before Scofield, Darby was the original author of this 'System of Dispensations'.

Scofield's dispensations go hand in hand with Zionism.

But what does the Word really say about Gog and Magog and what was the view before Scofield and Zionism.
