JaHUsha het Sy aardse bediening in Galilea begin met die volgende woorde: “Die tyd is vervul en die koninkryk van Elohiem het naby gekom; bekeer julle en glo die goeie nuus.”
Dit was baie goeie nuus omdat hulle verban was na Babilon en die wat teruggekeer het nou onder die heerskappy van Rome gestaan het. Die evangelie of Goeie Nuus handel dus oor die Koninkryk van Elohiem.
Met hierdie woorde het JaHUsha begin om te leer oor die nabyheid van die Koninkryk van Elohiem en daarmee gepaard gaan die noodsaaklikheid van bekering, want sonde was die oorsaak dat hulle uit die koninkryk geban was.

EVANGELION: “GOSPEL”

Om die einde van alle dinge te verstaan, moet ons die begin eers goed verstaan. Ons moet derhalwe ‘n deeglike kennis van Genesis hê om Openbaring te kan verstaan. Maar Genesis is ook soos ‘n fondasie waarop die hele Skrif gebou is en van die heel eerste letter en woord af, is daar vir ons ‘n kernboodskap.
JaHUaH het van die begin af ‘n “Huis” geskep. “Huis” word op ander plekke in die Woord gebruik as ‘n sinoniem vir “Koninkryk” (Mat. 23:38, Joh. 14:2, Mat. 13:24, 27 52).
Die verhaal van die mens en sy Skepper begin in die Paradys. Dis die eerste Huis wat die Skepper daar gestel het, naamlik die Tuin van Eden (wat “Genot” beteken), wat ook die Koninkryk van Elohiem is. Daar het die mens met JaHUaH gewandel, Hom gesien en met Hom gepraat. Daar was alles wat hulle nodig gehad het om suksesvol te kon lewe. Maar hulle het hierdie Huis verloor as gevolg van hulle sonde van ongehoorsaamheid.
