SOLOMON, THE WISEST OF THE FOOLS

Listen to this precious Podcast of The Bible Project to discover the similarities between Gen. 1 – 3 and the lives of Abraham and Solomon and eventually of YaHUsha as the Son of Man, the last Adam, who is Wisdom itself.

“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.” (Luke 11:31)

SOLOMON, THE WISEST OF THE FOOLS

THE DIFFERENT TOROT OF ROMANS 7

In the context of Romans 7, the first part is about being released from the Book of the Law as the “Torah of Moses“, Rom. 7:1 – 6.

Romans 7:7 is not Torah of Moses or the Levitical Torah which is the Book of the Law

Rom. 7:7 is one of the Ten Commandments of the Book of the Covenant.

FOODLAWS IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK

In the old Levitical Order of the Torah of Moses they had to do certain physical things to cleanse them of pollution to be able to come into the presence of YHWH who is holy/set apart. Therefore they had a list of what to eat and what not to eat.

In the renewed SPIRITUAL Melchizedek Order there is no list as the matter is not about physical food, but about SPIRITUAL food that can pollute the mind of the Believer, as our physical bodies will become dust, but it is our SPIRITUAL bodies that must be unpolluted to be able to be in the presence of YHWH Elohim and thus to be able to enter the City of Rev. 22:13 and therefor we have to “eat” the “Bread of Life” from the “table” that Messiah YaHUsha had set for us, which is given to us in the whole of the New/Renewed Testament which is His Torah.

THE NEW OR RENEWED COVENANT

The aspect that we are looking at is what is called the New or Renewed Covenant, because most people do not even grasp the basic concept of Covenant.  It is just another idea that is not really taught but it is  fundamental in the relationship because He is the Creator of the Universe and to be His partner, we have nothing to offer, but He has everything to offer.  So it is quite something that one wants to participate in.

HOPE – 1 Pet. 1:13 “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your HOPE fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of YaHUsha Messiah”.

Yakhal / Hope

In the Bible people who have hope are very different from optimists! In this video, we’ll explore how biblical hope looks to God’s character alone as a basis for trusting that the future will be better than the present – The Bible Project.

JOSEPH’S GARMENT, A COAT OF MANY COLOURS?

It was not really a coat of many colours that Joseph got from his father, but “a long garment with sleeves”.  That was the robe that indicated the position of the Firstborn (which was not always the physical Firstborn but a position of pre-eminence as with Ephraim and Manasseh).  Joseph was a type of YaHUsha who had this position of pre-eminence of the Firstborn over all of Creation, Col. 1:15 – 16.

From the beginning there was the Order of Melchizedek that operated through the Firstborn, but after  the worshipping of the Golden Calf, the Levitical Order was TEMPORARILY put in place – read Numbers 3 – where all the Firstborn were exchanged with Levites.

When YaHUsha came, He came as the Firstborn and as the High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek and that put an end to the temporary Levitical Order.

John the Baptist who was a Levite, transferred the Priestly position to YaHUsha when he baptised Him, as YaHUsha was from the tribe of Judah.

YaHUsha’s robe which was not torn (Mat. 27:35), was symbolic of His position as Firstborn and also as the High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek, as Caiaphas tore his High Priestly robe which ended the temporary Levitical Order (Matt. 26:64 – 65, Mark. 14:62 – 63).
