Wanneer Moses die opdrag gee dat die Groot Versoendag op die 10e van die 7e maand gehou moet word (Lev. 23: 26 – 32), kom die opdrag om te “verootmoedig”. Dis dìe woord wat tradisioneel vertolk is as “vas”. Die woord vir vas is egter “Tsum” (Strong’s 6684) en dis nie wat hier staaan nie.

In this short video, The Bible Project explores how Israel’s temple in Scripture is described as the place where Elohim’s space and humanity’s space are one.

In the opening pages of Genesis, Elohim creates a cosmic temple, and in the person of YaHUsha, Elohim takes up personal residence in His “Temple-world”.
By the end of the biblical “story”, all of creation has become Elohim’s sacred temple.
