DIE MISTIESE STER VAN JUDAÏSME EN ISRAEL AS AARDSE KONINKRYK

Die Staat Israel se Sionistiese “Dawidster” is nou verweef aan die mistiese sy van Judaïsme vanuit buite-Bybelse geskrifte soos die Talmud en die Kabbala. 

Daar is nie Bybelse gronde vir die Ster van Dawid nie, maar dit het te doen met die Stergod (met die oog op Satarnus as stergod) wat reeds volgens die Woord al in die Ou Testament deur Israel aanbid is toe Israel ‘n aardse koninkryk was (Amos 5:26 en Hand 7:42).

Diè mistiese ster word gekoppel aan die messias wat Judaïsme verwag. 

Die Jode het al in JaHUsha se tyd ‘n verwagting gehad vir ‘n Verlosser ten opsigte van ‘n aardse koninkryk, maar Hy het in al Sy gelykenisse verduidelik dat Hy ‘n Hemelse koninkryk verteenwoordig.  Dit was ‘n verborgenheid, soos ‘n skat wat ontdek moes word.

Vandag nog is daar dieselfde reuse slagyster om niè Ou Testamentiese profesië te interpreteer t.o.v. die Hemelse Koninkryk nie, maar t.o.v. op ‘n “aardse” Israel.

Die “aardse” opset korreleer egter wel met die Dier uit die aarde in Open. 13 wat JaHUsha Messias se Hemelse Koninkryk opponeer.

Daar is dus twee “paaie” om van te kies op ons geloofsreis na ons eindbestemming.  Hierdie dokument kan dien as ‘n padbordjie om die regte pad te kan identifiseer.

THYATIRA – HISTORY

The letter to the church at Thyatira is a tightly woven masterpiece of Old Testament text and cultural context.

Thyatira was the smallest of the seven cities in Asia but has the distinction of receiving the longest letter.

While there are not significant ruins at Thyatira as there are in the other cities the cultural references are quite strong and can be easily seen throughout the letter.

In Thiatire moes almal meedoen aan afgodery om hulle werk te kon behou. 

Die feit dat daar gepraat word van “die dieptes van Satan”, dui op ‘n onheilige verbintenis aan geheime rites uit Babel en wat dalk reeds uit die valse Joodse “Sefer Yetshira” gekom het, die voorloper van die Kabbala. 

Die feit dat Isebel wat bekend was vir die Baälgodsdiens in Israel genoem word, verwys na die feit dat daar okkulte beoefen is en bordele bedryf was.

THE ASSEMBLY OF THYATIRA

The major threat to Christians within Thyatira may have been the trading guild.  They incorporated pagan practices into their business dealings.  Members of the guild were expected to participate. 

No other city seems to have had so many guilds as Thyatira:  coppersmiths, bronze workers, tanners, leather workers, dyers, workers in wool and linen, porters, bakers, and slave dealers.  

Josephus tells us that Seleucus probably settled a colony of Jews in Thyatira early in his rule, knowing that a garrison of soldiers alone could not produce a viable community.  This is substantiated by inscriptions indicating the many trade guilds in the city.

As this assembly made no effort to control the prophetess Jezebel, it was a cause of concern. The original Jezebel was a Phoenician Baal-worshipper and wife of Ahab, King of Israel.  She left behind her a name for “obscene idol worship and monstrous sorceries” (II Kings 9:22).

TIME, TIMES AND HALF A TIME

This is a term that appears in the book of Daniel and in the book of Revelation.  Daniel gives us the prophecy and in the book of Revelation the prophecy is revealed as it would play out in the future concerning the Followers of YaHUsha, namely the 7 Assemblies and also those who will come from them.

It is related to Dan. 9:24 – 27’s very important and outstanding prophecy and more specifically with the 2 halves of the 70th week of years namely verses 26 and 27. 

This prophecy is about YaHUsha who would come as the Anointed One at a specific time in history and then it is also about the role of the Adversary on the other side.  

Consequently, it also involves the proclamation of the gospel of YaHUsha and the Kingdom of Heaven to all nations, tongues and peoples, but not only that.  It is also about the role of the Adversary in thwarting the expansion of YaHUsha’s Heavenly Kingdom and trying to hijack it for himself by the persecution of Believers in YaHUHsa, but in the end the Adversary is defeated.

Thus “time, times and a half time” has a physical and historical meaning as well as a prophetic meaning. The prophetic meaning is in other words built on the physical events which were historical, meaning that that history must be examined if we are to gain insight about the term.

This writing leads the reader to understand how “time, times and a half time” relate to the Heavenly Kingdom’s New Testament Church (as Spiritual Israel whose Tabernacle is the Heavenly).

As it appears in the book of Revelation, it is a prophetic period that has been going on for more than 2,000 years already because it also involves the entire period of the last part of Daniel’s Image with the Babylonian head, namely that of the Roman Empire, where we now are at its toes.  

From where we find ourselves, therefore, this period is historical, present and future and not just future as popular eschatology spreads it.

TYD, TYE EN ‘N HALWE TYD

Dit is ‘n term wat voorkom in die boek van Daniël en in die boek van Openbaring.  Daniël gee vir ons die profesie en in die boek van Openbaring word die profesie geopenbaar soos wat dit toekomstig sou afspeel t.o.v. die Volgelinge van JaHUsha, nl. die 7 Gemeentes en ook vir diè wat uit hulle sal voortkom.

Dit staan in verband met Dan. 9:24 – 27 se baie belangrike en uistaande profesie en meer spesifiek met die 2 helftes van die 70e jaarweek naamlik vers 26  en 27.

Diè profesie handel oor JaHUsha wat as Gesalfde op ‘n spesifieke tyd in die geskiedenis sou kom en dan ook die rol van Sy Teenstander aan die anderkant.  

Dit behels gevolglik ook die verkondiging van die evangelie aangaande JaHUsha aan alle volke, nasies en tale, maar nie net dit nie.  Dit handel ook oor die Teenstander se rol om die uitbreiding van JaHUsha se Hemelse koninkryk te kortwiek en vir homself te probeer kaap deur die vervolging van Gelowiges, maar uiteindelik word die Teenstander oorwin.

So het “tyd, tye en ‘n halwe tyd” ‘n fisiese en geskiedkundige betekenis asook ‘n profetiese betekenis.  Die profetiese betekenis word m.a.w. gebou op die fisiese gebeure wat histories was en diè geskiedenis moet  ondersoek word as ons insig oor die term wil bekom.

Hierdie skrywe lei die leser om te verstaan hoedat tyd, tye en ‘n halwe tyd in verband staan met die Hemelse Koninkryk se Nuwe Testamentiese Kerk (as Geestelike Israel wat ‘n Hemelse Tabernakel het). 

Soos die term in die boek van Openbaring voorkom is dit ‘n profetiese tydperk wat al meer as 2 000 jaar lank aan die gang is want dit behels tegelykertyd ook die hele tydperk van die laaste gedeelte van Daniël se Beeld met die Babiloniese kop, nl. diè van die Romeinse Ryk, waar ons nou al by die tone daarvan trek. 

Van waar ons ons bevind is diè tydperk dus geskiedkundig, teenswoordig en toekomstig en nie net toekomstig soos gewilde eskatalogie dit versprei nie.

FEES VAN TABERNAKELS: JAHUSHA, ONS TABERNAKEL

Omdat die huttefees die laaste van die sewe feeste was, het dit die religieuse seisoen voltooi.  Die getal sewe in die Woord verteenwoordig “voltooiing”.   Ons leer hieruit dat die Loofhuttefees die voltooide of afgehandelde werk van JaHUaH verteenwoordig in beide die teenswoordige tyd waarin ons leef en die lewens van individuele gelowiges. 

JaHUsha Messias is die tabernakel of woonplek van Elohiem.  In Hom het die volheid van Elohiem gewoon (Johannes 1:14; Kolossense 2:9) en Elohiem woon in ons midde deur JaHUsha Messias (Mattheus 18:20).

JaHUsha het beweer dat ons in Elohiem rus kon vind deur Hom.  Baie gelowiges soek JaHUaH se rus deur vir Hom te werk of iets van Hom te probeer kry.  Maar deur ‘n persoonlike verhouding met JaHUsha Messias, is Hy ons rus.

FEAST OF TABERNACLES: YAHUSHA IS OUR TABERNACLE

Because the Feast of Tabernacles was the last of the seven feasts, it completed the religious season.  The number seven in the Bible represents completion.   We learn from this that the Feast of Tabernacles represents the completed or finished work of YaHUaH in both this present age in which we live and the lives of individual Believers.   Thus it corresponds to the last step in our walk with Elohim to reach spiritual maturity and rest in our souls.

YaHUsha Messiah is the Tabernacle or dwelling place of Elohim.   In Him dwelled all the fullness of Elohim (John 1:14; Colossians 2:9) and Elohim dwells in our midst through YaHUsha Messiah (Matthew 18:20).

YaHUsha claimed that we could find rest in Elohim through Him.  Many Believers seek YaHUaH’s rest by working for Him or trying to get something from Him.  But through a personal relationship with YaHUsha Messiah, He is our rest.

Een aspek wat baie Gelowiges weerhou om JaHUaH se rus binne te gaan is …”om te weet hoe om beproewings die hoof te bied”.  

Ons ondervind almal probleme wat ons geloof beproef en ons gehoorsaamheid aan die geopenbaarde wil van JaHUaH vir ons lewens toets.  

Hoe ons gereeld op hierdie beproewings reageer, kan die verskil maak of ons JaHUaH dieper gaan leer ken of nie.  

Die Groot Versoendag is ‘n hulpmiddel wat JaHUaH ons gegee het om ons meer te leer oor JaHUsha Messias en hoe om die onvermydelike beproewinge wat elke gelowige konfronteer, te hanteer.
