‘N SKRIFTUURLIKE DAG

A SCRIPTURAL DAY

When does a day start in Scripture?  How long is a day in Scripture?

These are two important questions to ask and to be able to answer them as correctly as possible we must go to the Bible itself and not to contemporary Babylonian Judaism’s popular interpretation of Gen. 1.

With the Babylonian infiltration since the exile of Judah to Babylon, constant restoration  must be done regarding the truth about “all things”, because Babylon had passed on to us as well.  The truth that was there from the beginning must now gradually be “erected” again (e.g. the Name of the Almighty and our Saviour), but there are still more truth that must be restored.

What did YaHUsha say in relation of the length of a day?

In the beginning Elohim separated Light and Darkness, He made a clear division between Day and Night.

With the Sabbath as the seventh Day, the truth emerges clearly.  The Word speaks directly of the Sabbath as a ‘day’ and nothing else added to it.  It says nothing about the ‘previous evening’.

SABBATH

On page one of the Bible, Elohim orders a beautiful world out of chaotic darkness within a sequence of six days.

And on the seventh day, Elohim rests.

This introduces the major biblical theme of patterns of seven that conclude with Elohim and humans resting together as partners.

In this video, The Bible Project explores the theme of seventh day rest and the biblical concept of Sabbath, as well as why YaHUsha adopted this idea as a major part of his own mission to bring Elohim’s Kingdom to earth.

SABBATH

SABBATH AND FEASTS ACCORDING TO THE MELEKTZADEK “New and Living way”

In the Hebrew Roots movement virtually all are “Taught” to follow the “Torah of Moses”. They then attempt the impossible task of “Doing” this “Torah of Moses”, end up frustrated with the incompleteness and so some even Teach contrary to Scripture that “We Keep/Do the one’s that we can do”….. whereas the Torah instruction is to “Keep ALL this Torah”.

Some then go on to find the influence of the Oral Teachings of the Rabbi’s on the “Torah of Moses” giving the Traditions and Doctrines that we initially accepted as Scripture … only to find them to be “interpretations” with unscriptural origins.

To gain true understanding, we need to work with the principles elucidated in the examples and the teachings laid out for us in the MelekTzadek Scriptures (N.T.) so that we can apply Torah to our lives.
