LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF THE WORDS OF YAHUAH

1 Sam. 15:1   And Shemue’el said to Sha’ul ….. listen to the voice of the words of YaHUaH.   (The Scriptures)

This verse is not translated in all translations like it is in the KJV and The Scriptures.

Many translations leave out one specific word, then it just says ‘listen to the words of YaHUaH’ and it does not specifically say:  ‘to the voice of the words’, but the ‘voice’ part cannot simply be left out.  We are then going to look a little closer at a few specific words.

This short video of Prayer and Faith explains.

YAHUAH IS MY BANNER

YaHUaH has hidden symbolic “word pictures” in Scripture that depict the core truths of our faith, especially in the first five books which Moses recorded.  It is like hidden gems within the written history.

We must therefore not only read literally, but we must also read the word pictures, as they confirm and unfold the New Testament.  It serves as prophecies about YaHUsha as Messiah, His Kingdom of Heaven as well as of a Spiritual Israel as His people.

These word pictures enable us to understand a spiritual truth by means of the known physical history, as the physical is a shadow image of the spiritual (cf. 1 Cor. 10:11).

In Ex. 17:8 – 16 Moses sits on the rock with his raised staff.  From this depiction we get an important truth about what YaHUsha came to do for us which must be held high like a Banner.

WHO WAS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD/YHUH? -An Animation

This is an animated explanation of the Angel of YHUH in less than 13 minutes by Bible Animations.

There’s this figure called ‘the Angel of the LORD/YHUH’ who’s name appears over 60 times in the Old Testament and we often gloss over His name without a second thought.

The reason He stands out is because sometimes when He appears He claims to be God/Elohim Himself.

We’re going to dive into some of the most mind boggling stories in the Old Testament, but at the end I’m going to share with you a few New Testament verses that offer a very interesting perspective on the answer the question, “Who is the Angel of the Lord/YHUH?”

BOAZ AND RUTH

The book of Ruth has only four chapters, but it is rich in meaning.  One thinks of the book as a love story, but it is about more than just the love between two people.  It is a symbolic expression of YaHUaH’s supernatural love for man.

Boaz and Ruth are historically and symbolically two important people in YaHUaH’s unfolding plan of salvation.  Their story is simple.  It takes place in a peaceful time of the judges, although there was a famine that was over by the time Naomi returned to Bethlehem.  The central theme is that of a defenseless widow with no future whom YaHUaH saved through seemingly random events of every day and created a rosy future for her.  Summarized the story is as follows…

Naomi and Elimelech and their two sons temporarily moved to Moab because of a devastating drought in Bethlehem.  After Naomi’s husband and both her sons, Mahlon and Kilion, died there in Moab Naomi, as the only survivor from her family, decided to go back to Bethlehem.  Her one daughter-in-law, Ruth, chose to go with Naomi.  Naomi returned bitter and stripped. Ruth also left everything she knew behind, especially the god of Moab.  She totally left her fate in the hands of Naomi’s Elohim, without her knowing how things would work out for her.  There was no turning back for her and it was there in Bethlehem where Ruth met Boaz who married her.  The book ends with an account of Ruth and Boaz’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as the bloodline of the royal house of Israel that began with David.  YaHUsha, our Redeemer, was born from that lineage as the “Son of David”.

The names in the book of Ruth are meaningful.
