TABLE TO CALCULATE THE PASSOVER DATE AND THE NEW YEAR

To find the correct dates, firstly get the date for the March Equinox (Ex. 12:2).

2 Chron. 24:23 and Ex. 34:22 says the Tequfah/Circuit is the “End” of the year and obviously the Year’s beginning as well, which will be at the March Equinox. 

Then the First Full Moon after the Equinox will be Day 15, which is the day that the Israelites left Egypt (Ex.12:31 – 39, Ps. 81:3, Ps. 104:9).

Then one counts back to the New Moon which is the Dark Moon which would be the beginning of the Month.

After that, count forward up to Day 14 which will be the Levitical Passover Date, but the Covenant Meal which YaHUsha instituted was on Day 13, as He was the Passover Lamb exactly on the correct time on Day 14 on YaHUaH’s Calendar. For that reason we keep the “Melchizedek Passover” or the New Covenant Meal, on Day 13.

It is also important to remember that a day has 12 hours on YaHUaH’s Calendar, and a Night has also 12 hours (Gen. 1:16, John 11:9). That means that a day does not start the night before at twelve o’ clock or at sundown the previous day.

There was then this “change” in Torah from Levitical to MelekTzadek. 

Messiah kept the Levitical Passover after sunset the 13th Day, then He introduced the Renewed Covenant with the MelekTzadek Covenant Meal, then He Ratified this Covenant with His Blood, all on Passover “between the evenings”  (Ex. 12:6).

Ex. 12:6  “And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month:  and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.”

In the evening = between the evenings  – בֵּין   הָעַרְבּיִם 

עֶרֶב  =  evening

הָעַרְבּיִם  =  the evenings

בֵּין  =  between

There is Day till the Sun sets then Evening until night falls, going on for 24 hours unill sunset and the other Evening.

Om die korrekte datums te kry, moet die datum vir die Maart-Equinox eerstens geneem word (Ex. 12:2).

2 Kron. 24:23 en Ex. 34:22 sê die Tequfah/Omtrek is die “einde” van die jaar en natuurlik ook die begin van die jaar, wat by die Equinox sal wees.

Kry dan die Eerste Volmaan daarnà (wat Dag 15 sal wees, want dit was die dag waarop die Israeliete Egipte verlaat het, Ex. 12:31 – 39, Ps. 81:4, Ps. 104:9) en dan tel mens terug tot by die Nuwe Maan wat die Donker Maan is, om sodoende by die begin van die Maand uit te kom.

Daarna word daar weer vorentoe getel tot by die veertiende dag vir die Levitiese Pasga, hoewel die Verbondsmaal wat JaHUsha ingestel het op Dag 13 was, sodat Hy die volgende dag, presies op die regte tyd op JaHUaH se Kalender, die Paaslam kon wees op Dag 14. Daarom gedenk ons die “Melgisèdekorde Pasga” of dan die Nuwe Verbondsmaal, op Dag 13.

Dit is ook belangrik om te onthou dat ‘n dag twaalf ure het op JaHUaH se Kalender, so ook ‘n Nag (Gen. 1:16, Joh. 11:9). ‘n Dag begin dus nie die vorige nag om twaalfuur nie, of die vorige aand met sononder nie.

Dag 13 en Dag 14 is die tydperk van “Tussen die aande” waarvoor voorsiening gemaak is in die Ou Testamentiese Teks.

Daar was ‘n “oorskakeling” in Torah vanaf Levities na Melgisèdek.

Messias JaHUsha het die Levitiese Pasga gehou nà sonsondergang op die 13e dag, en daarna het Hy die Nuwe Verbond met die Melgisèdek-Verbondsmaal ingestel, wat Hy daaropvolgend met Sy bloed bekragtig het op die Pasga ‘tussen die aande’ (Ex. 12:6).

Ex. 12:6  “En julle moet dit in bewaring hou tot die veertiende dag van hierdie maand;  en die hele vergadering van die gemeente van Israel moet dit slag teen die aand.”

Teen die aand = tussen die aande  = בֵּין   הָעַרְבּיִם

בֵּין  =  tussen

עֶרֶב  =  aand (enkv.) –  Strong’s H6153

הָעַרְבּיִם  =  aande (meervoud)

Dit lyk dan asof ons Afrikaanse Bybel nie die letterlike vertaling gebruik het nie, maar dit is wel in  die Hollandse Bybel (1884) reg vertaal:

Ex. 12:6  “En gij zult het in bewaring hebben tot den veertiende dag dezer maand;  en die gansche gemeente der vergadering van Israël zal het slagten  tussechen twee  avonden.”

Dit is dus dag totdat die son sak, en dan is dit aand voordat dit “nag” word en dit alles duur dan 24 uur tot by die volgende aand met sononder.

THE BIRTH OF YAHUSHA MESSIAH DURING THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Along with the instruction to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles also came the command to “rejoice.”  It is a time to rejoice when the Saviour of the world is born.

Due to worldwide Christmas celebrations, the scriptural commemoration of YaHUsha’s birth has been almost completely obliterated.  YaHUsha’s birth was not on the 25th of December. This is a date that represents a different meaning.

DIE GEBOORTE VAN JAHUSHA MESSIAS TYDENS DIE LOOFHUTTEFEES

Saam met die instruksie om die Fees van Tabernakels (die Loofhuttefees) te vier, het ook die opdrag gekom om vrolik te wees.  Dis ‘n tyd om vrolik te wees as die Verlosser van die wêreld gebore word. 

Weens wêreldwye Kersfeesvierings is die skriftuurlike herdenking van JaHUsha se koms na die wêreld  feitlik heeltemal uitgewis.  JaHUsha se geboortedag was nie op 25 Desember nie.  Dit is ‘n datum wat ‘n ander betekenis verteenwoordig.

LESSONS ON SUKKOTH UNDER THE ORDER OF MELKIZADEK

“And on the last great day of the Festival, YHUShA stood and cried out, saying:  “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in me drink. As the scriptures said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.”  And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given, because YHUShA was not yet esteemed”. – John 7:37

This is a lesson about His Tabernacle with us.  He came to be present with us through the giving of His Spirit so that we could have eternal life.  He made a point of making this declaration on the last day of the Feast in the Temple amongst the assembly.

SUKKOT

What to keep in mind when we might gather for Sukkot.

There are some amoung us who have travelled the Narrow Path of understanding that we are part of Scriptural Israel, Post Messiah YaHUsha, and understand that “Torah” is Spiritual and want to live a “Torah” based life in the Melchizedek Priesthood in Messiah YaHUsha through the Ruach HaKhodesh as prophesied in the Tanach and explained in the Brit Chadashah (N.T.).

We understand that “Torah” is Spiritual (Rom. 7:14), our bodies are the Temple (John 2:21, 1 Cor. 6:19) as we as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a set-apart Priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Elohim by Messiah YaHUsha (1 Pet. 2:5), that we should serve in newness of Ruach, and not in the oldness of the letter (Rom. 7:6) and that Elohim also hath made us able ministers of the New Covenant.

SABBAT EN FEESTE VOLGENS DIE ORDE VAN MELGISÈDEK OP ‘N NUWE EN LEWENDE WYSE

Die Sabbat word gereken as die Hoof “Moedim”.  Saam met die ander feeste in die 1e Maand en 7e Maand, is dit afgesonderde poorte in Tyd.  Dit is dus ‘n goeie plek om te begin as ons insig wil bekom.

Die “Sabbatdag” wat die week afrond, is die 4e Instruksie van die “Tien Woorde”, naamlik om te “Rus” en om nie te “Werk” nie.

Die woorde van hierdie 4e Instruksie en die Skrifte wat daarmee gepaard gaan, veroorsaak groot verskille in die gemoedere en begrip van mense.  Dit varieer vanaf ekstreme Wettisisme tot ‘n “Dankbare Rus” in die “Ewige arms”.

Vir die ware betekenis daarvan moet ons geestelike fokus op die konsep wat uitgebeeld word in die woord “Sabbat” soos wat dit voorkom in Heb. 4, naamlik dat dit handel oor die Ewigheid, die uiteindelike “Rus”.

DIE FEES VAN TABERNAKELS OP DIE NUWE EN LEWENDE WEG

Ons wat in Messias is word geroep om Sukkkot as die “Moed” van JaHUaH Elohiem te hou (Lev. 23:2), maar gaan ons dit doen volgens die “Feestelike vergadering”, nl. die “Chag” van die Torah van Moses (Lev. 23:39 – 44), OF gaan ons fokus op die Voltooide werk van Messias JaHUsha wat as die “WOORD” in ‘n Menslike Liggaam gekom het om JaHUaH se Wil te kom doen (Ps. 40, Heb. 10), terwyl Hy met ons kom “Tabernakel/Sukkot” het en dan so die “Moed” van JaHUaH hou?

VOOR DIE TROON

Ons lees van die Groot Versoendag in Lev. 23:27 – 32 en in Lev. 16.  Dit moes vanaf die aand van die negende dag tot die aand van die tiende dag van die sewende maand gehou word, nadat die Laaste Basuin op die eerste dag van dieselfde maand geblaas het.  Die Groot Versoendag is reeds gedeeltelik vervul in JaHUsha Messias (Heb. 10) vir ons wat nog fisies in ons “tydelike tentwonings” woon (2 Kor.5), maar reeds tog al geestelik in hemelse plekke is (Ef. 2:6)

Toekomstig sal daar ‘n laaste deel van vervulling wees wanneer ons voor die Troon van JaHUaH sal staan na die eerste opstanding, as die Verlostes van die aarde (die Gemeente van Eersgeborenes, Heb. 12:23).

YOM KIPPUR: Behold the Lamb and uphold His sacrifice

All the Feasts from the beginning to the end are a clearly prescribed map for our spiritual pilgrimage in following YaHUsha who is “the way, truth, and life” (John 14:6). This is the season of the appointed Feasts of the seventh month. May we “behold the Lamb of God” and uphold His blood that covers and takes away our humbly repentant sins in order to have eternal life.

No one will be able to ascend into His holy eternal presence without the consecration that comes through repentance and the covering of blood that makes us clean and righteous in His sight. Our sins will stand and condemn us unless we have repented for each sin we have been convicted of and then the blood of YaHUsha will proclaim us righteous and justified in the sight of the Great Commandment Giver and Judge.
