UNDERSTANDING THE DAY OF ATONEMENT OR YOM KIPPUR

The Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur, is the most holy and solemn day of the Biblical calendar. It is the only day when the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies, the most sacred place within the Tabernacle and ancient temples. It was the only day when the high priest reconciled Israel with Elohim and symbolically brought them back into the presence of YaHUaH. No other day, and no other ancient ritual comes closer to the full meaning and purpose of the atonement of YaHUsha Messiah.

DIE GROOT VERSOENDAG Opsomming

Daar is ‘n lang speling van sowat 4 maande tussen die eerste feeste van die jaar en die laaste 3 feeste van die jaar, waartydens die oes ingesamel moet word. 

JaHUsha het gesê dat die lande al “wit is vir die oes” (Joh. 4:35).  Dit is nou nog die tyd wat die nasies  het om in te kom (Rom. 11:25) in die “Gemeente van Nasies” as Verheerlikte Israel, die Bruid.

DAY OF ATONEMENT Summary

There is a long gap of about 4 months between the first festivals of the year and the last 3 festivals of the year, during which the harvest must be collected.

YaHUsha said that the fields are already “white to harvest” (John 4:35).  Now is still the time that the nations (Rom. 11:25) can come into the “Congregation/”Kahal” of Nations” as the Glorified Israel, the Bride.

EERSTEVRUGTE

In die O.T. is die Fees van Eerstevrugte gehou op die dag ná die weeklikse sabbat (wat in die dae ná die Pasga gekom het, Levitikus 23:15).  Die eerstevrugte van die garsoes het ryp geword tydens die tyd van die Pasga (Eksodus 9:31).

Die priester sou die gerf gars voor JaHUaH wuif om dit aan Hom voor te hou as die Eersteling van die gars as graanoes (Lev 23:10 – 15).  Die volk was nie toegelaat om enige van hierdie nuwe opbrengs van die gars te eet voordat diè eerste gerf nie eers vir JaHUaH aangebied is nie.

FIRSTFRUITS

In the Old Testament, the Feast of Firstfruits was kept the day after the weekly sabbath (which came in the days after Passover, Leviticus 23:15).  

The Firstfruits of the barley harvest ripened at the time of Passover (Exodus 9:31).

The priest would wave (Lev 23:10-15) the sheaf of barley before YHWH, presenting it to Him as the Firstfruits of the barley grain harvest.  The people were not allowed to eat any of this new barley grain until it had been first presented to YHWH

THE FEASTS – YAHUAH’S PLAN FOR REDEMPTION

The feasts represent YaHUaH’s plan of redemption for mankind.  With the feasts we can follow the Plan of Salvation from the Stake for the cleansing of our sins, to the Resurrection life and the filling with His Set Apart Spirit, followed by the long road of proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven to all nations (Mark 1:14 – 16, Matt. 28:8 – 20), up to the gathering of the harvest with the Return of YaHUsha, which on the other side also involves the pouring out of His wrath (Rev. 11:18, Rev. 14:8 – 11, Matt. 25:31 – 46).

DIE FEESTE – JAHUAH SE VERLOSSINGSPLAN

Die Feeste verteenwoordig die raadsplan van JaHUaH vir die mensdom.  Hierin kan ons die verlossingsplan volg vanaf die folterpaal en die reiniging van ons sondes, na die opstandingslewe en die vervulling met die Afgesonderde Gees, gevolg deur die lang pad van die verkondiging van die goeie nuus van die Koninkryk van die Hemel aan al die nasies (Mark. 1:14 – 16, Matt. 28:8 – 20), tot by die insameling van die oes met die wederkoms van JaHUsha die Gesalfde, wat aan die anderkant ook die uitstorting van Sy toorn behels (Open. 11:18, Open. 14:8 – 11, Matt. 25:31 – 46).

THE CRUCIFIXION OF YAHUSHA

In this video of The Bible Project, we see how YaHUsha’s work and ministry culminated in a week of controversy leading up to the celebration of Passover.

We will explore the Gospel of Luke 19 – 23, and how it came about that the innocent YaHUsha ended up being executed as a revolutionary rebel against Rome.

We will also see how YaHUhsa was not at all surprised because He believed that His death would open up a new future for Israel, and for all humanity.

PROFETIESE TEKENS IN DIE HEMELE TYDENS JAHUSHA SE GEBOORTE – Openbaring 12

Gen. 1:14 sê dat die ligte in die uitspansel van die hemel moet dien as “tekens” (ototh) vir “vasgestelde tye” (moedim).  Diè tekens word ook die Sodiak of Diereriem genoem.  Dit is ‘n sowat 20 grade breë, denkbeeldige gordel aan die hemelruim waarlangs die son, die maan en planete oënskynlik beweeg.

Die sterrehemel draai elke dag van oos na wes om ’n vaste pool.  Nes die son elke dag op dieselfde plek sit, so keer die sterre elke jaar terug na dieselfde plek aan die hemelruim.  Dit is bedoel as JaHUaH se Evangeliese Plan in die hemelruim vir elkeen om te “lees” nog lank voordat daar boeke was, maar soos ons ook weet het astrologie hulle eie verwronge vertolking daarvan gemaak.

SABBATH

On page one of the Bible, Elohim orders a beautiful world out of chaotic darkness within a sequence of six days.

And on the seventh day, Elohim rests.

This introduces the major biblical theme of patterns of seven that conclude with Elohim and humans resting together as partners.

In this video, The Bible Project explores the theme of seventh day rest and the biblical concept of Sabbath, as well as why YaHUsha adopted this idea as a major part of his own mission to bring Elohim’s Kingdom to earth.
