THE HEADS OF THE BEAST

The belief in a dragon or monster from the water or from the sea is as old as mankind itself.  Dragons are still revered in the East, but there are also tribes in Africa that still believe in a seven-headed snake that stays in the water and can turn you into a nasty witch doctor.

Daniel sees in Dan. 7:7 a monster with ten horns that rose from the sea (Dan. 7:3) which was symbolic of the later Roman world empire of the New Testament.

Revelation 12:3 connects to the prophecy of Daniel 7:7 when the devil is depicted as a dragon with seven crowned heads and ten horns.
